Swifterwint - 2023
SwifterwinT is a Dutch wind energy cooperative. This project involved creating three animated explainer videos that translate complex energy topics into clear, accessible stories.

Motivation
The challenge was to communicate technical and sensitive topics like ecology and shadow flicker in a transparent and approachable way.
Goal
To support public understanding and trust by presenting information clearly, visually, and in line with SwifterwinT’s identity.
My role
I handled the full creative pipeline, including visual style, storyboarding, animation, and final editing.
Concept & Context
SwifterwinT is a Dutch cooperative of farmers, residents, and energy companies working together to develop wind energy in the IJsselmeer region. To communicate their work and impact to a broad audience, I created three 2D explainer videos for their website, focusing on topics such as shadow flicker, ecology, and community wind funds.
Process
After receiving the scripts, I developed storyboards and style frames to structure the visual narrative. I then animated and edited each video in After Effects, balancing motion, pacing, and clarity to ensure the explanations were engaging and easy to understand.
Visual Direction
I started by defining the visual style and creating a set of graphic assets that aligned with SwifterwinT’s existing brand identity. The goal was to keep the visuals clear, friendly, and approachable while supporting complex and technical information.
